Collectively, the partners of MSI Taylor have more than 100 years' knowledge and experience in their respective fields. This makes them well qualified to lead a team of almost 40 professional accounting, financial services and support staff.

Matthew Harris

Firm partner, Matthew Harris has more than 20 years' experience in the accounting management industry following completion of a Bachelor of Business, a Graduate Diploma of Professional Accounting (Management Major) and a Master in Commerce.

Matthew’s recent business professionalism shines through in his ability to provide quality service to large profile businesses including a landscaping business which is going to turn over in excess of $25 million. Matthew is very passionate about this business and also chairs the firm's board.

Other business achievements include providing accounting expertise for construction subcontractors including one contractor with a turnover in excess of $40 million and a developer who currently owns $38 million worth of commercial property in Brisbane.

Along with his solid academic qualifications, Matthew holds many professional memberships and associations including the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, and the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

David Holloway - Authorised Representative of Professional Investment Services Pty Ltd

Financial planning partner, David Holloway is an authorised representative of Professional Investment Services (PIS). PIS can provide you with services throughout Australia and worldwide using its extensive membership.

David is a CFP and CIP, an Associate of the Financial Planning Association, an Associate of FINSIA, a member of AFA, a life member of MDRT, an Accredited Specialist Self Managed Super Fund advisor and member of SPAA, Commissioner of Declarations and President of the Brisbane West Chamber of Commerce.

David has been in the financial services industry for more than 30 years and can provide you with help to make your financial decisions and secure your financial freedom.

Michael Purcell

Michael Purcell joined MSI Taylor as a partner in 1995 following graduating with a Bachelor of Business from the Queensland University of Technology in 1982.

Prior to joining MSI Taylor, Michael was employed in the tax and business services of a Brisbane-based chartered accounting office. He has focused on small and medium business clients in providing comprehensive business service and taxation advice.

He is a taxation specialist, and has expertise in the area of new business, taxation planning and business structures.

Michael’s clients cover a broad range of industries including, the medical profession, building, manufacturing, franchising and retail.

He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, a Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia and a registered tax agent.

David Wright

David Wright commenced public practice in 1977 and incorporated his firm MSI Taylor in 1990.

Since commencing work with MacIntyre Accountants in London in 1956, David has moved through commercial and public practice accounting positions. David’s experience has covered commercial work as accountant for an advertising agency, administration manager of a publicly listed property developer, and publisher of a local Brisbane newspaper. In public practice he was managing partner of an accounting services company prior to commencing his own practice in 1977.

David has expertise in corporate structures, trusts and associated entities. His commercial background provides strengths in business planning and financial strategies. He also has major clients in tourism, entertainment, advertising, manufacturing, quarrying, property development and building.

David is a Fellow of the Association of Taxation and Management Accountants, a
Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a member of the Australian Institute of Management and a registered tax agent.

RAJ PRABHU

Raj joined MSI Taylor in 2007 as an Audit Manager of the firm. He was appointed Audit Partner in 2008.

His Audit expertise spans 25 years, with almost 15 years in Audit Manager’s role. Raj’s background includes audit positions both in Australia and aboard and 3 years as a lecturer at the University of Mumbai. Raj has also served as a member on the panel of examiners of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Raj’s expertise lies in the fields of audit, assurance, business investigations and valuations.
